The Manlius Township Board thanked the Saugatuck-Douglas District Library for providing 37 years of library service to residents on the North side of Manlius Township, in a letter dated March 29, 2010. The Manlius Trustees asked that the letter serve as notice of their intent to terminate its contract for library services with Saugatuck-Douglas by June 30, 2010.

Manlius residents with Saugatuck-Douglas District Library cards may get them replaced with Herrick District Library Cards after June 30, 2010.

Residents of South Manlius will still receive library cards from the Fennville District Library.
